Job summary

Axcis Education in Chorley is seeking a Teaching Assistant (SEND) to support pupils in a primary school. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, delivering learning activities, and promoting communication and social development under the guidance of teaching staff.

We offer immediate or October start dates with both full-time and part-time options, long-term or term-time only contracts. DBS checks and safeguarding are required, with ongoing training and professional development provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals in schools or similar environments is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Confident in building positive relationships with pupils.
• Comfortable working as part of a wider team.

The Role
