Job summary

Axcis Education is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Penzance, supporting children and young people with a range of learning needs. You will work as part of a class team providing practical and emotional support throughout the school day. Location: Penzance, Cornwall.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm. Salary: £94–£98 per day. Previous SEND experience is essential and highly beneficial.

Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Specialist SEND School

Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in a specialist SEND setting? We are recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a well-established specialist school in Penzance, supporting children and young people with a range of moderate to complex learning needs. The school provides a highly personalised approach to education, with pupils supported according to their individual needs, abilities and starting points. There is a strong focus on helping young people build confidence, communication, independence and the skills they need for life beyond school.

The Role

Working as part of a class team, you will provide practical and emotional support to pupils throughout the school day.
