Job summary

Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School is advertising a permanent, part-time Learning Support Assistant role. The position is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a lunchtime duty. You will provide 1:1 SEND support and assist with general Class LSA duties across the primary range, with pupils including those with ASC and developmental delay.

A safeguarding DBS check is required. The start date is January 2027 or sooner.

Qualifications

• Experience in a classroom environment.
• Experience with pupils with ASC and developmental delay desirable.
• Knowledge of Attention Autism and Phonics desirable.
• An enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 SEND support as timetabled.
• Assist with general Class LSA duties across the primary range.
• Support teachers in differentiating a curriculum and developing self-esteem.
