Inspired Education Group's Wetherby Preparatory School in London seeks a SEND Teacher to provide high-quality targeted teaching and support for pupils aged 5–13 with SEND. The postholder will work with the Head of Learning Enrichment, classroom staff, parents and external professionals to identify needs, remove barriers and ensure progress.

The SEND Teacher will deliver individual and small-group interventions, contribute to ILPs, advise teachers on provision and monitor identification,

Qualifications

Experience delivering targeted SEND interventions and ILPs.
Ability to monitor pupil progress and communicate with staff and parents.
Experience using screening assessments such as YARC, HAST and dyslexia screeners.

Responsabilités

Assist the Head of Learning Enrichment with maintaining the school's SEND register and other records.
Maintain accurate records of pupil needs, provision, interventions and progress.
Record information from assessments and meetings and share with staff.
Monitor assessments and data to identify pupils needing additional support.
Administer screening and diagnostic assessments as required.
Interpret assessment information to identify strengths, difficulties and barriers.
Use ILP targets to plan and deliver targeted intervention.
Monitor progress against targets and provide feedback to staff and parents.
Ensure ILPs reflect current needs and are communicated to staff.
Ensure parents are aware of and contribute to ILPs.
