Job summary

LANGTON N4P is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant in London to support learning in line with the national curriculum, working 3 days per week (25 hours). The role is with an education charity based in Haggerston.

You will work with individuals or small groups, implement planned activities, and build positive relationships with students, including those with special educational needs. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Successful experience working with young people in an educational setting.
• Literacy: good reading and writing skills (National qualification Grade C or equivalent).
• Current DBS Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals or small groups under the direction of teaching staff.
• Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities as appropriate.
• Establish positive relationships with supported students.
