Job summary

LinkLiving is seeking a Self Help Coach (Carers Service) to provide stress support to carers of individuals on the autistic spectrum. The role is based at Kirkcaldy with travel across Fife, 18 hours per week, 3 days.

You will use CBT-based techniques and build supportive relationships with service users. The post requires empathy, active listening, and a compassionate, proactive approach in a trauma-informed team.

Qualifications

• You are a compassionate and proactive individual with a focus on service users.
• Emphasis on empathy, respect and person-centred approach.
• Experience or willingness to travel across Fife and work with carers.

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT-based stress support to carers of individuals on the autistic spectrum or with additional needs.
• Build respectful, empowering relationships with service users and coordinate signposting to relevant services.
