Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Healthcare. The role is 16 hours per week, with shifts that are variable. You will prepare high-quality meals, support menu changes, and ensure hygiene standards across a busy kitchen.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about great food and customer service, with a Food Hygiene certificate and experience supervising a team. A flexible approach to working is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Have experience supervising a team.
• Have experience in a similar Chef role.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Have a flexible approach to working.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Healthcare and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
