Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a Science Technician for a coeducational secondary school and sixth form in south west London. This part-time role runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30am–3pm, and is initially temporary.

The job involves equipment organisation and support for practical lessons, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. Suitable candidates include science graduates with lab experience or experienced science technicians.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS.
• UK Bachelor of Science Degree or overseas equivalent.
• Experience in a lab or as a Science Technician in UK schools.

Responsibilities

• Organise, prepare, repair, clean, transport and collect equipment and materials.
• Assist and support practical lessons and enrichment activities.
• Ensure full health and safety compliance, including risk assessments.
