Job summary

24x7 Group in Brentwood is seeking dedicated part-time drivers to provide safe transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. Roles involve local routes with flexibility and shifts (morning and afternoon) during term-time as well as school days.

No experience needed; training provided; vehicle provided; DBS check required; driving various vehicles; Group 2 medical and right to work in the UK essential.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (car category) is required.
• Ability to drive a variety of vehicles, including people carriers.
• Enhanced DBS check and Group 2 medical clearance are required.
• Right to work in the UK must be confirmed.
• Professional conduct and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transport for passengers to schools or other locations.
• Build professional relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and staff.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Be available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days.

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

What You Need

• A valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK
