Job summary

Trerobart Primary School invites applications for a caretaker. The role runs 7:00am–10:00am and 2:45pm–5:45pm, Monday to Friday, totalling 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will undertake porterage, caretaking duties, minor repairs, decoration and maintenance, and oversee cleaning contractor work.

We seek a trustworthy, reliable and enthusiastic person who can be flexible about duties and work at the school. Start date is as soon as possible; safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• Trustworthy, reliable and enthusiastic candidate.
• Flexible attitude towards duties and school needs.
• Experience in caretaking or porterage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out porterage and caretaking duties, repairs and decoration as needed.
• Monitor and liaise with cleaning contractor; support cleaning schedule and standards.
• Assist with general maintenance and respond to obvious repairs around the school.
