Job summary

Teaching Consultancy UK is recruiting an experienced Data & Assessment Officer to support administration and leadership functions in an East London school. The role is part-time and permanent, with flexible pattern to be agreed.

The ideal candidate will manage school MIS data, produce assessments and reports, and ensure GDPR compliance while supporting senior leaders in data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with school MIS systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or similar.
• Experience producing assessment data, reports and performance analysis.
• Strong Excel and data-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities within part-time working hours.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience within a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of examinations administration and JCQ regulations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the school’s data and assessment systems.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of student data, assessment records and reporting information.
• Produce performance reports, assessment analysis and statutory returns.
• Support senior leaders with progress tracking, data analysis and school improvement priorities.
• Assist with the coordination of internal and external examinations.
• Support exam entries, timetables, invigilation arrangements, results days and certificate distribution.
• Liaise with examination boards and relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with JCQ regulations.
• Maintain student groups, timetables, academic calendars and registration structures within the MIS.
• Support staff with the effective use of school data systems and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
