Job summary

Barnwell Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic cleaner to join Tyne and Wear Learning Trust, working 10 hours per week from 3.30 to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday. This role helps maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors at the school.

The successful candidate will be organised, dependable and take pride in producing high-quality cleaning. Prior school or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, with a positive and flexible approach to the work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Ensure all areas of the school are clean, safe and ready for pupils and staff each day.
• Assist in keeping classrooms, corridors and facilities in good order and report any faults.
• Work as part of the school team to support colleagues and contribute to a positive environment.
