Job summary

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas of the school in accordance with Durham County Council cleaning specifications and ensuring these are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
• Emptying waste bins and disposing of refuse to meet health and safety standards.
• Cleaning toilets and reporting faults or maintenance issues to the Line Manager.
• Carrying out vacuuming in carpeted areas and maintaining equipment.
• Cleaning all floor areas (sweeping, mopping, polishing) and using wet floor signs as required.
