Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a part-time Cleaner at Greenford High School in London. You will deliver routine cleaning to a high standard under a Cleaning Supervisor, following schedules and SLAs.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 15:30–18:00, totalling 12.5 hours per week, with on-site duties and training provided. A DBS check will be required, and reliability, teamwork and a professional attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is preferred; training can be provided.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
• Be self-driven and determined; strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references may be required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and under their own initiative.
• Adhere to Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and SLAs.
• Ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order.
• Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• Always maintain security - locking doors, following lost property procedures.
