Mitie Group plc. in the Darlington area is seeking a part-time cleaning operative to deliver routine cleaning at Kajima Darlington Schools, Thompson Street West, Darlington, DL3 0HZ.

You will work 16 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with duties to meet the contract SLA and high cleanliness standards. You will complete required training, work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow Mitie safety, quality, health and environmental policies, maintain equipment, protect confidential

• Cleaning experience preferred; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to a high standard.
• Work in a team and follow the Cleaning Supervisor's directions.
• Adhere to Mitie policies on quality, safety, health and environment.
• Maintain designated areas per contract and SLA requirements.
• Keep equipment clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Report maintenance needs observed during tasks.
• Ensure security and safeguarding policies are followed.
• Build positive relationships with customers and seek improvements.
