Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to work at a school in Shustoke, Birmingham. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across classrooms and communal areas, with duties including sanitising toilets, emptying waste, and following school procedures.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 3:00pm–5:30pm, with an immediate start for the right candidate and a pay rate of £13.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• An Enhanced DBS with Child Workforce is essential for this role.
• You must also have your own transport and be able to drive, as there is no public transport available to the site.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred, particularly within a school, education or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and other facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Following cleaning schedules and school procedures
