Chartwells is hiring an ambitious Chef on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) to prepare and serve high-quality food for our clients in education settings, while upholding Chartwells' reputation for great service.

You should hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, possess a Food Hygiene certificate, and have experience supervising a kitchen team in a similar role. A flexible approach to working is essential to fit a busy service schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening to customer feedback to improve services.
• Assisting with the creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
