Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a Part-Time School Caretaker for a primary school in Lichfield. You will work four days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm, with Wednesdays off.

You will help keep the premises safe, clean and well maintained to support daily school operations. Ideal candidates will have caretaking or site supervision experience, a practical approach, and a good health and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or site maintenance.
• Practical, reliable and able to work independently.
• Good awareness of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general caretaking and basic maintenance duties.
• Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are safe, tidy and well maintained.
• Completing routine health and safety checks and reporting hazards or issues.
• Assisting with moving furniture, equipment and deliveries when required.
• Ensuring entrances, corridors and communal areas are presentable.
• Supporting with site security and following school procedures.
• Reporting repairs and maintenance requirements to the appropriate person.
• Providing general site support to school staff as needed.
