Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company Ltd in Morpeth invites applications for a part-time Sales Assistant role. The 16-hour week, spread over four days including weekends on a rota, offers an opportunity to provide high-street service and support a busy e-commerce and events team.

You will greet customers, maintain store standards, handle stock and deliveries, and process sales on the Epos till system (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a fully stocked store.
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
• Welcome and greet customers.
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given.
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries.
• Keep up to date with product information.
• Accurately describe product features and benefits.
• Follow all companies policies and procedures.
• 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
