Job summary

Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a premium retail brand with their search for a Part-Time Sales Advisor to join their team in Bath City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an established, welcoming boutique and provide an exceptional customer experience.

Salary is £13.00 per hour during probation, rising to £13.60 per hour after successful completion. Hours are 24 per week, including weekends and bank holidays when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail, hospitality or sales environment.
• Friendly, confident and approachable with passion for delivering great customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking with customers and making recommendations.
• Smart, professional presentation with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly and personalised service to every customer.
• Build product knowledge and confidently discuss the range with customers.
• Understand customer needs and recommend gifts and products.
• Process sales and operate the till accurately.
• Support stock replenishment and maintain high standards of presentation.
• Keep the boutique tidy, welcoming and well-presented.
• Assist with opening/closing, cleaning and housekeeping.
• Support in-store promotions and contribute ideas for the customer experience.
• Work as part of a close-knit team to ensure smooth daily operations.

DAY TO DAY:

• Providing a warm, friendly and personalised service to every customer.
• Building strong product knowledge and confidently talking customers through the range of products available.
• Understanding customers' needs and making thoughtful recommendations, including gift ideas and product suggestions.
• Processing sales and operating the till accurately.
• Supporting with stock replenishment and ensuring products are presented to a high standard.
• Maintaining an attractive, clean and welcoming boutique environment.
• Supporting with opening and closing procedures, daily cleaning and general housekeeping.
• Assisting with in-store promotions and contributing ideas to enhance the customer experience.
• Working as part of a close-knit team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the boutique.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail, hospitality or sales environment.
• A friendly, confident and approachable personality with a genuine passion for delivering great customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Someone who is comfortable speaking with customers and making recommendations.
• A smart and professional approach, with strong attention to presentation and detail.
• Reliable, flexible and happy to work weekends and bank holidays when required.
• A genuine interest in premium products, gifting, food or retail would be advantageous.
• Additional language skills would be desirable but are not essential.
