Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in the UK is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for Sundean Vets in Lydney on a 30-hour, part-time 9-month maternity cover contract.

You'll join a supportive small animal team with a structured nursing rota, nurse-led consultations and theatre days, working Tue–Fri with some Saturday mornings. This role offers development through our Nurse Academy, with opportunities to specialise in clinical interests and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload.
• Run nurse-led consultations and support preventative healthcare.
• Provide inpatient and hospital nursing care.
