Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to support operations at a major High Street brand in Northampton on a part-time basis (31.5 hours per week).

You will supervise frontline teams, ensure high service standards, handle till operations, and assist with stock and rotas while complying with food hygiene and health & safety regulations. This role offers progression opportunities within a company that values its people.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Team player and can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Checking and storing deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
