Job summary

Deichmann Swindon is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at 48 The Parade. This part-time role offers a 4-hour contract with a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 and a potential hourly commission.

You will engage customers, process sales at the till, restock shelves, and work with your team to hit store targets while keeping the shop floor clean and welcoming. Energy, a positive attitude and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers and provide helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serve customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommend and promote complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborate with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the shop floor is always kept clean and tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
