Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Member for our Troon store. This part-time position (12 hours per week with regular overtime) includes training and varied shifts, with duties ranging from till work to stocking shelves and assisting customers in-store or with post office/bakery services.

You’ll be part of a friendly team in a busy local store. You’ll help keep shelves stocked, support sales, and promote Co-op membership while helping the community.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service and help to put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Hands-on on the shop floor and tills, contributing to daily operations for a great shopping experience.
• Keep shelves stocked and check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure the store is safe and legal—prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.
