Job summary

Aston & Fincher Ltd is seeking a Store Assistant to support customers in our Keighley store. The role includes selling, restocking, and merchandising to maximise sales while maintaining store standards and a welcoming environment.

You will handle orders, support deliveries, and ensure accurate pricing and stock control. The position is part-time (22.5 hours/week), with hours Tue–Thu 9:00–17:00 and pay £12.71 per hour.

• Proven experience as a Store Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick customers' orders and assist customers.
• Ensure all products are clean and correctly priced.
• Stock items on shelves according to procedures.
• Count stock accurately.
• Use of till systems for transactions.
• Pack orders in line with procedures.
• Assist with deliveries and dispatch.
• Answer phones and invoice orders.
• Keep up to date with promotions and merchandising standards.
• Build on customer telephone orders and cross-sell.
