Aston & Fincher Ltd, based in Birmingham, is seeking a Store Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products and to support the store team. Responsibilities include selling, restocking, merchandising and delivering high-class service to drive sales growth.

Role involves picking customer orders, keeping shelves stocked, handling till transactions, and maintaining store standards. 39 hours weekly with a 5-day pattern and opportunities for training and pension benefits.

Aufgaben

• Pick customers order
• Ensure all products are clean and correctly priced
• Stock is put out on shelf to company procedures
• Count stock accurately
• Use of till / Retailer
• Pack all orders in-line with the company procedures
• Assist and arrange for items to be dispatched
• Answering the phone
• Invoicing of orders through our till system
• Keep up to date with all promotional activity
• Merchandising within the company guidelines
• Build on customer telephone orders
• Assist with deliveries of stock coming into store
• Transfer stock in / out to stores/suppliers
• To help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
• To make deliveries to salons within your area when necessary
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments
• Keep up to date with product information
