Job summary

Co-op in Northallerton is seeking a Customer Team Member to join a friendly team in a busy local store. You’ll help deliver essential services to the community and support operations across the shop floor, post office, bakery or online order services.

The role offers 16 hours per week with regular overtime, permanent part-time contract, and full training. Expect mid-afternoon to late-evening shifts, including at least one weekend shift, with a focus on excellent customer service and community

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team
• Retail experience not required but helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service and assist with daily store operations
• Keep shelves stocked and prices/dates accurate
• Operate tills and support post office, bakery, or online order pickup where applicable
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with local community
