Job summary

Compass Homes offers a part-time Residential Support Worker role in Tudhoe, with flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends. You will help children experience childhood, support their wellbeing, and report on activities in a caring, non-judgemental environment.

Induction spans two weeks with classroom training and shadow shifts. The company supports you to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months, enabling career progression and ongoing development

Qualifications

• Age 22 or above to meet Ofsted regulations.
• No prior experience required; induction provided.
• Willingness to pursue Level 3 Diploma within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with children's activities, health, wellbeing and safeguarding.
• Support a range of domestic tasks and complete reports.
• Create timetables and help manage paperwork.
• Provide supervision as needed and support the team.
