Job summary

Lifeways in Southampton is hiring for a part-time role (24 hrs/week) with shifts from 07:30 to 22:00, Monday to Sunday. The job involves residential care for adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health conditions, with activities spanning daily routines, social outings, and community engagement.

We provide a supportive team environment, comprehensive induction, and DBS paid for by Lifeways.

Qualifications

• DBS check required and paid for by the company.
• Flexibility to cover shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day personal care and support to residents.
• Assist residents with activities and community engagement.
• Support independence and dignity in daily living.
• Follow care plans and report changes to the team.

Part-time (24 hrs/week) 07.30am - 22.00pm (Between Monday-Sunday) Sleeps may also be required from time to time (Shift patterns vary depending on activities for the week, but the maximum would be 07.30am-22.00pm)
