The Buckinghamshire Registration Service is seeking an experienced Registrar to join our Aylesbury team on a part-time basis, with progression to a management role. The job covers births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships, plus supervising a small team of Registrars.

The role operates from our Aylesbury office and occasional travel to Beaconsfield or High Wycombe may be required. You must be able to work Saturdays/Sundays at least monthly, and during summer.

Competenze

• Must have previous experience as a Registrar in a busy office.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to support and guide colleagues while maintaining high service standards.

Mansioni

• Register births and deaths, undertake legal preliminaries for marriage/civil partnership, and attend ceremonies.
• Work as part of a rota across multiple outstations and manage a small team of Registrars.
• Work Saturdays/Sundays at least once a month, including during the summer season.
