Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting children in the dining room and playground.
• Supporting small groups of learners while they work on a task.
• Supporting individual learners with their work in all areas of the curriculum.
• Helping children develop social skills and behaviours.
• Assisting with preparation of the learning environment.
• Observing and recording learners’ progress.
• Assisting with assessment of learners’ progress.
• Responding to minor incidents and administering First Aid.
• Keeping abreast of educational developments relevant to learners’ needs.
