Qualifications

• Safeguarding of pupils is the highest priority.
• Two satisfactory references required.
• PVG scheme membership required for employment.
• All appointments subject to qualification and registration checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting children in dining room and playground.
• Supporting small groups of learners with tasks.
• Assisting individual learners across the curriculum.
• Helping children develop social skills.
• Assisting with preparation of the learning environment.
• Observing and recording learners’ progress.
• Assisting with assessment of learners’ progress.
• Responding to minor accidents and administering First Aid.
• Keeping abreast of educational developments relevant to learners’ needs and curriculum development.
