Job summary

Cygnet Gledholt in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our enhanced community residential service for adults with complex needs. You will carry out psychological assessments and provide individual and group therapy within a multidisciplinary team.

Role requires HCPC registration, experience with adult mental health, and knowledge of risk assessment. We offer a structured training program, DBS clearance, and a supportive environment with opportunities to develop clinically.

Qualifications

Qualified Psychologist with HCPC registration and experience in adult mental health.
Experience delivering psychological assessment and therapy in multidisciplinary settings.
Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

Carry out psychological assessments & provide therapy to individuals & groups.
Work systemically with staff, as well as directly with service users.
Consult with staff, families & other agencies about the psychological care of the client group.
Offer psychological insight & knowledge to the multidisciplinary team.
Support the clinical, nursing & direct care teams in making skilled evaluations & decisions about risk.
Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research.
