Job summary

cobaltrecruitment is recruiting a Property Finance and Operations Assistant for a small UK-based property business. The role offers broad exposure across real estate investment and development and is part-time, with responsibilities that grow as you take on more duties.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will raise rent and service charge demands, process invoices, and maintain cashflow records while developing familiarity with Propman and basic bookkeeping.

Qualifications

• Basic accounting understanding and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Attention to detail and clear communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to prioritise and work independently within a small team.

Responsibilities

• Raise rent and service charge demands and manage credit control.
• Process invoices, expenses, payments and utility recharges.
• Complete bank reconciliations and maintain cashflow records.
• Maintain ledgers and support VAT and quarter-end processes.
• Assist with Charity Trust administration and donations.
• Support office systems, suppliers, and records.
