Job summary

Practice Plus Group is recruiting a General Practitioner to join the Primary Care team at HMP Gartree, Market Harborough. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver psychiatric support to adult male patients with complex mental health needs.

This part-time role offers Friday hours 8:00-16:30 or 8:30-17:00, 8 hours per week, with an annual salary up to £135,000 FTE dependent on experience. We provide bespoke induction and career development opportunities, plus 24/7 support in a secure

Qualifications

• MBChB or MBBS with GMC registration.
• Inclusion on GMC Register and GP Performers List.
• Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
• Experience as a GP in community general practice with CPD.
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willingness to undertake.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class healthcare to a diverse group of patients as a GP in a prison setting.
• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis and make timely management decisions.
• Support site healthcare governance and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
