Job summary

DSAT Multi Academy Trust is seeking a diligent Teaching Assistant to join our team in a part-time capacity. The role involves working with individuals, small groups and whole classes to raise attainment, with a focus on phonics, English and Maths group work in a KS2 setting.

The successful candidate will support playground behaviour and collaborate closely with the class teacher, attending staff development and embracing our caring, progressive ethos. Visits to the school are welcome.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification required.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.
• Experience in a primary school setting and KS2 preferred.
• Ability to implement phonics, English and Maths group work.
• Willingness to promote positive play and behaviour in the playground.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals, small groups and whole classes to impact learning.
• Promote positive play and behaviour in the playground during playtimes and lunchtimes.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and school team to support curriculum delivery.
• Attend staff development and support school vision and values.
