Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a Premise Cleaner for Wetherby Ambulance Station. The role covers cleaning, decontamination and related tasks to meet infection prevention standards.

Working 7.5 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Fri, 0700–1400 or as agreed) within a 24/7 service environment, with potential site cover and bank holiday shifts. The post requires basic IT use for emails and timesheets and a short PCA as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• A basic Physical Capability Assessment may be required.
• Duties include cleaning to high standards and Infection Prevention measures.
• Stock control and recording daily activities including spillage and ad-hoc cleaning.
• Use of basic IT for emails and timesheets.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning, decontamination and related tasks across stations and sites.
• Follow Cleaning Protocols and daily work schedules to meet standards.
• Maintain stocks of cleaning materials and record activities.
• Respond to urgent cleaning and deep cleaning requests as required.
• Record activities using basic IT tools and timesheets.
