Job summary

Liverpool Women's NHS FT is recruiting for a Pre-Op Assessment Practitioner to join the Pre-Op Team in the department. The post is part-time (28 hours per week) and you will be accountable for your own practice, including patient assessment and referral, working autonomously in the pre-operative assessment clinic.

You will implement care, provide specialist advice and contribute to clinical pathways, service improvement and redesign initiatives. UK NHS entry requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse (RGN) or ODP with professional registration.
• Clinical examination course completed or willingness to undertake.
• Gynaecology experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, plan and implement care with specialist advice.
• Carry out specialist nursing procedures including ECG recording and interpretation.
• Develop clinical protocols and SOPs; contribute to pathways and service improvement.
• Support and contribute to staff development and performance reviews.
