Job summary

Prescot Medical Centre is hiring an experienced Practice Nurse for our GP Practice in Prescot, Knowsley. The role focuses on nursing treatments, patient health promotion and coordinating with doctors to deliver evidence-based care.

The post involves helping with chronic disease management, screening, vaccinations and cervical screening, with a six-month probation and salary review on completion.

Qualifications

• Experienced Practice Nurse with NHS GP practice experience.
• Provide high quality patient care and treatments.
• Support doctors and the primary care team in chronic disease management, screening, immunisations and health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care and treatment.
• Participate in setting standards for care and auditing outcomes.
• Lead nursing support for other team members and participate in training.
• Deliver care in clinics, surgeries and home visits as required.
