Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd, in partnership with Royal Mail, is recruiting Postal Delivery Workers to support their busy operation in Newport. You’ll start your day at the local delivery office, sort mail, and prepare your route before delivering letters and parcels to the surrounding community.

Hours are 30–40 per week with Saturday/Sunday duties as required by the depot. The role is part-time and temporary, with PAYE hourly rates of £13.37 basic and £14.38 overtime.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (at your current UK address).
• Must pass a DBS check before starting.
• Customer-facing experience is helpful.
• Ability to work outdoors and cover weekend shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and gather mail at the delivery office.
• Collect vehicle or trolley and handheld device for routing.
• Deliver letters and parcels to local community.
• Work 30–40 hours per week, including weekend duties.
