Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist GP and nursing team in delivering high-quality primary care services.
• Undertake delegated tasks under supervision.
• Work within defined parameters after appropriate training and assessment of competencies.
• Perform venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients only as the result of a direct referral from a GP or nurse practitioner.
