Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for the All Age Eating Disorders Service in Berkshire. The role is 22.5 hours per week, working Wednesday to Friday, delivering phlebotomy, ECG and routine physical monitoring to child and adult patients referred to eating disorders and mental health services.

Training will be provided. The post holder will work with a supportive team under GP guidance and contribute to compassionate, recovery-focused care while

• Venepuncture techniques performed; operates without direct supervision.
• ECG and routine physical monitoring observations are carried out.

Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture, ECG and monitoring for child and adult patients referred to eating disorders and mental health services.
• Liaise with clinicians, laboratory staff, patients and their representatives; coordinate care.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining dignity, privacy and safety.
