Job summary

Penderels Trust is seeking caring, reliable staff to support a person with a disability in daily living tasks in the West Midlands. The role involves personal care, meal prep, medication support, and help with appointments. A DBS check is required, and transport by car is needed for some shifts.

Hours are flexible, with approximately 14 hours per week. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and able to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is helpful but not required; a genuine interest in supporting people with a disability/illness is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Driver with car and business insurance is preferred for transport duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and/or prompts for daily activities (toileting, bathing, dressing).
• Assist with cooking and meal preparation and ensure adequate hydration and nutrition.
• Support medications administration as required (candidates 18+ can administer meds).
• Assist with household chores and general homemaking tasks.
• Accompany to appointments and assist with travel arrangements as needed.
