Job summary

ILA Self Directed Support Forth Valley in Tullibody is seeking a kind, reliable Personal Assistant/Care Worker to provide care and support to a woman living with Multiple Sclerosis in her own home, promoting independence, choice and dignity.

You will perform personal care, bedtime routine, catheter care, dressing, meal prep, and general household tasks, including transfers using a ceiling hoist, and offer companionship.

Qualifications

• Kind, reliable and dependable in supporting daily living.
• Ability to promote independence, choice and dignity.
• Willingness to work within a care team in the client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Assist with bedtime routine.
• Assist with catheter care and dressing.
• Prepare meals and drinks as required.
• Support with general household tasks.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using a ceiling hoist.
• Provide companionship and social support.
• Perform any other duties related to care and PA duties.
