Job summary

Our client, a UK Top 50 firm, is seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator to join the payroll team in North Shields. The role offers 18–25 hours per week with a pro rata salary of 30,000–35,000.

Key duties include processing payrolls for a varied client portfolio, administering pensions and P11D reporting, and handling payroll queries. Experience in accountancy practice or payroll bureau is desirable, along with CIS knowledge and payroll software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in accountancy practice or payroll bureau environments.
• Knowledge of CIS and subcontractor payments.
• Experience with payroll software.
• Experience preparing P11D(s).

Responsibilities

• Process regular payrolls for a varied client portfolio.
• Administer workplace pensions.
• Prepare PAYE summaries.
• Support clients with payroll queries.
• Set up PAYE schemes.
• Process subcontractor payments.
• Administer employee benefits including P11D reporting.
