Job summary

Cameron James is seeking a Part Time Payroll Administrator in North Shields to support a portfolio of clients. The role runs 18-25 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £30,000–£35,000.

You will become part of a small payroll team handling day-to-day payroll tasks and client queries. The ideal candidate has experience in accountancy practice or payroll bureaux, with knowledge of CIS and subcontractor payments and proficiency with payroll software.

Our client, a UK Top 50 firm is seeking to appoint a part time payroll administrator to its exisiting team

Duties of the Payroll Administrator:

• process regular payrolls for a varied client portfolio
• administer work place pensions
• prepare PAYE summaries
• support clients with payroll queries
• set up PAYE schemes
• process subcontractor payments
• administer employee benefits including P11D and benefit in kind reporting

Experience for the Payroll Administrator:

• accountancy practice experience or payroll bureau experience
• knowledge of CIS and subcontractor payments
• experience of Payroll software
• experience of preparing P11D's
