Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is recruiting for a part-time Passenger Support role in Harrogate to help ensure safe, comfortable journeys for passengers on a split shift from 07:00–09:30 and 15:00–17:30.

The role offers full training, including PATS, First Aid, and Managing Challenging Behaviour, with pro rata annual salary (£28,153–£30,023). Experience is welcome but not essential; carers and colleagues require strong communication to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Experience not essential, but some experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all passengers board, travel, and alight safely.
• Use great communication to connect with carers and colleagues.
• Administer emergency medication to children safely and accurately per care plans.
