Job summary

24x7 Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Passenger Assistant to transport SEN pupils and vulnerable adults to and from school or day care centres. The role offers term-time work and 12.5 to 20 hours per week, with routes varying.

You will work with drivers to ensure safe, patient journeys and build positive relationships with passengers and carers. An Enhanced DBS check, right to work in the UK, and First Aid training are required, with training provided.

Responsibilities

Passenger Assistant Role And Responsibilities

Salary: £560 - £860 per month (route dependent)

Hours: 12.5 to 20 per week (varies by route)

Your Role

• Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
• To assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes - cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• To be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.

What You Need

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training - and willing to undergo advanced specialist medical training.
