Job summary

24x7 Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Part-Time Passenger Assistant to support transport of SEN and vulnerable passengers to and from school or day care facilities.

You will work 12.5 to 20 hours per week, term-time, with monthly pay between £560 and £860 depending on route; training is provided and a contributory pension is available.

Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check (DBS) for work with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training - willingness to undertake advanced medical training.

Responsibilities

• Transport SEN or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres.
• Work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support company operations.
• Establish positive relationships with passengers, carers/parents, and establishments.
• Assist the driver in company vehicles, including cars, 8-seat people carriers and wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• Be patient and empathetic, keeping passengers occupied and comfortable during journeys.

Your Role

• Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
• To assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes - cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• To be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.

What You Need

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
