Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check (DBS) due to work with children and vulnerable adults.

• First Aid Training required or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Transport special needs or vulnerable passengers to and from school, college, or day care centres.
• Work safely and support company operations.
• Build positive relationships with passengers, carers/parents, and establishments.
• Assist the driver with vehicles including cars, 8-seat carriers, and wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• Keep passengers occupied and comfortable during journeys.

Passenger Assistant Role And Responsibilities

Salary: £560 - £860 per month (route dependent)

Your Role

• Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
• To assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes - cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• To be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.

What You Need

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training - and willing to undergo advanced specialist medical training.
